The challenge
The old site was a single page in English with eleven pictures. Her body of work is far larger, and Icelandic visitors got nothing in their own language.
The solution
We built a static site in Icelandic and English from her own photos and words, in black and white so the works carry the colour. The works are sorted by medium and kind, each described for Google and screen readers, and the old picture URLs forward to the same pictures.
